Nillumbik Shire Council partnered with Nillumbik Youth Council to engage and survey local young people, parents and service providers on what matters most to young people. These voices helped shape the 2026-2029 Nillumbik Youth Priorities.
This engagement was an opportunity for young people to provide feedback on important issues that affect them, and to support Council in creating opportunities that contribute to a healthier, happier and more connected youth community. The survey captured a wide range of views, ideas and perspectives that assisted Council in learning more about what local young people want to see in the community.
Nillumbik Youth are currently reviewing the data and drafting our Youth Priorities for the next four years, keep an eye out for when we share these in 2026.
