Nillumbik Youth is part of a range of services Nillumbik Shire Council provides to the local community.

Nillumbik Youth are here to ensure that the young people of Nillumbik feel heard, empowered and equipped to thrive in our community.

Our services are for every young person between the age of 12-25 who lives, works, studies or plays in Nillumbik. If that’s you, we're here to offer lots of interesting information to help you stay connected to your friends, your family and your future.

Young people can connect with us to:

  • Engage with the local community
  • Make a difference and volunteer with us
  • Connect with other young people through programs and events
  • Get information and access support services
  • Learn new skills

Nillumbik Youth does not offer case management or crisis intervention services, however we collaborate and network with local services, youth organisations, youth workers and education providers to ensure young people have the services and opportunities they need. This includes participating in youth network meetings, input into youth policies and advocating for service needs for young people in the area.
