Volunteer and Student Placement Opportunities
At Nillumbik Youth, we have a key objective to support young people on work experience, student placement and volunteering.
We believe young people bring in a range of skills and interests, and they add value to our programs and service delivery. We've had students come from a range of courses, including community services and youth work studies. They’ve been involved in research and evaluation or worked alongside youth workers on existing programs and service delivery.
Students and volunteers play a vital role in our team. If that’s you, we value your insight, feedback and opinions on what you think the young people of Nillumbik need.
We certainly don’t want you to just do photocopying the whole time, but want you to support us to shape youth services and delivery and advocate on behalf of young people of Nillumbik. How many students and volunteers we are able to support varies each year.

If you are a full licensed driver and interested in volunteering, there are also opportunities to get involved in the L2P Learner Driver Mentor Program
