Do you love live music and the arts? Always wanted to run events?

Nillumbeats are a group of young people aged 15-25 who hang out once a fortnight to chat all things music, arts and culture. We also plan creative events in the community for other young people!

We've put on some awesome events including music gigs, Battle of the Bands, Short Film Festivals and collaborations with community festivals like Diamond Creek Rotary Town Fair and Hurstbridge Wattle Festival. We also do workshops to support creative pathways like sound production and graphic design.

By joining Nillumbeats you will:

  • Meet other creative young people into the same stuff as you!
  • Get great experience in all things event management, production and design for your resume
  • Receive mentoring from musicians, event managers and artists
  • Learn hands on skills for sound production and set up for live performances
  • Plan fun and awesome events
  • Get free entry to all events
  • Get free training and build skills in areas you’re interested in.

Eligibility:

  • Be aged between 15 to 25 years
  • Live, work, study or play within Nillumbik Shire (Including Eltham, Diamond Creek, Hurstbridge, St. Andrews and Greensborough areas)
