Join us for this workshop to learn all about applying for your first job.
From crafting your CV to acing your first interview, we will cover the essentials of job applications. We will also discuss key topics like understanding tax and superannuation, where to look for job opportunities, and how to approach businesses confidently. Whether you are looking for part-time work or your first full-time role, this session will give you the skills and knowledge to start your career with confidence.
This event is suitable for young people aged 15-25 and is delivered in partnership with Nillumbik Youth and Living & Learning Nillumbik. Registrations are required.
The facilitator:
This session will be run by the Skills and Jobs Centre at Melbourne Polytechnic. The Skills and Job Centre provides advice on training and employment opportunities. The centre is a community resource, funded by the Victorian Skills Authority, state government. Our staff support people with their career matters.
