Nillumbeats Battle of The Bands

The Nillumbeats Battle of The Bands is a competition for young musicians aged 12-25. Shortlisted acts will get to play their music to the masses at a showcase event!  Acts will get a 15-minute set time to win the crowd over. Acts will be judged by a panel of young people and music industry professionals, with prizes awarded to the top three acts. 

The Nillumbeats Battle of the Bands 2025 will be held on Saturday 5 July 5pm-9pm at Hurstbridge Hall.

Expressions of interest are now open for the Nillumbeats Battle of the Bands. To be eligible:

• All acts must only contain members aged 12-25
• The act is not to have an existing record, publishing or distribution deal.
• A minimum of 50% of members must live, work, study or play in the Nillumbik area.
• All acts must have a proposed set of 75% original material.
• Acts can be a soloist, duo, band or other musical ensemble.
• Dance, comedic or theatrical acts are not eligible for participation.

Submit Your Act
