Our six-hour accredited RSA course delivered face-to-face in Diamond Creek covers all aspects required to responsibly sell, serve or supply alcohol.
The course involves a mix of theory through PowerPoint presentations and practical activities such as role play and pouring drinks to measure. There is an assessment to complete at the end of the course.
You will receive an accredited RSA Certificate upon completion of the course.
What is RSA all about?
Alcohol is a drug and therefore governments regulate its sale and supply, and determine the rules which control who is able to sell liquor and who is able to consume it. These rules are contained in Acts of Parliament or Legislation. Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) means selling, serving and supplying liquor in a responsible manner and in accordance with the law. It also means that Licensees, Approved Managers and staff who sell or supply liquor are required to conduct their business in a responsible manner and may all be held accountable for their actions. Each state and territory has its own laws with regard to liquor. The legislation aims to ensure that alcohol is sold by responsible people in a responsible manner and that the possible harmful effects of alcohol are minimized or avoided (harm minimisation).

This course is open to young people age 17½ to 25.
You will be required to do an assessment at the end of the training. If you have one, bring a laptop to complete the assessment at the end.
