Youth employment program to help young people aged 16-24 upskill and find employment in the hospitality industry.

 

This 6 week program will cover the basics of hospitality including:

  • Customer service and point of sale
  • Safety at work
  • Using a coffee machine and barista training
  • How to wait table and serve dishes

Each participant will also undertake a placement at the Diamond Creek Rotary Tram Café, putting their knowledge to the testing in a practical hospitality setting. 

 

Key Details:

Dates:  21 February- 4 April 

Days: Mondays and Thursdays (Additional days may be required for placement)

Time: 10am-3pm  

Location: Eltham Living & Learning Centre, 759 Main Road Eltham

Cost: $50 ($20 for concession card holders)

 

This program is suitable for young people aged 16-24 who have left high school.
